We design customised foil heaters for many application within the comfort segment, for example, bathroom mirrors, infrared heating panels, waterbed heating and floor heating.

We have technical knowledge from over 30 years of experience in waterbed heat technology. We have developed and designed waterbed heaters in Sweden since 1984 and our technical experience ensures high quality and long-term reliability.

Our etched foil heaters provide low, uniform temperatures and very low running costs and thanks to the flexible material our foil heaters fit perfectly in compact applications.

Customized heating elements

Flexible, lightweight and space-saving

Flexible heating elements, or foil elements, offer many advantages in addition to the fact that the material is flexible. Examples include the ability to have multiple circuits or multiple voltages in the same element, or the ease of locating a sensor.

Foil elements are a space-saving, efficient alternative to applications where precise heat and the maintenance of an exact temperature are important. They are supplied in various materials such polyimide, polyester, silicone, PTC and mica.

Floor heating

Our heating film is a low-profile heater (0.3 mm) and the parallel circuits ensure robust operation of the heating element. Our floor heating does not need to be glued or fastened with a filler, which ensures easy installation. It can be used for wood/laminate floors for housing and for RVs. The design also allows the heaters to be cut to the correct length during assembly. This makes it possible to cover as much of the floor surface as desired.

Mirror heating

Foil heaters are used for bathroom mirrors and the heaters are simple to install and prevent the mirror from steaming up. The heaters have a low, uniform temperature that makes the mirror safe to touch but still keeps the mirror clear, and they have very low running costs. The Backer Calesco mirror heater must be connected to the lighting circuit or to the electrical circuit through a separate switch. The installation must be in accordance with existing regulations. We have several standard versions available that are ready to use.
